Zazen Meditation at Shojuan Hermitage
A Quiet Hour of Zen at Historic Shojuan Hermitage
Step away from the everyday and spend a calm morning in zazen at Shojuan, the secluded hermitage where Dokyo Etan, also known as Shoju Rojin, spent his later life. Set just a short walk from Iiyama Station, this one-hour experience offers a rare chance to sit in stillness and learn about the history of one of Iiyama’s most meaningful Zen sites.
