Iiyama City invites you to the third session of its 2026 Human Rights and Corporate Human Rights Education Lecture Series. This year’s theme is “Nurturing Human Rights Awareness in Every Individual.”
Session 3 takes on one of the most pressing human rights issues of our time: online defamation and harassment. From anonymous posts to viral pile-ons, the internet has created new forms of harm that devastate real lives. Speaker Satoo Harayama from the Nagano Prefecture Human Rights Awareness Center guides us through the issues and what we can all do about them.
