A lively winter festival glowing across Iiyama’s snowy fields.
The Kamakura Festival is one of Iiyama’s most loved winter celebrations.
During the festival, Kamakura Village becomes filled with food stalls serving local specialties, winter sweets, warm drinks, and handmade crafts—all surrounded by sparkling snow huts.
At night, colorful fireworks light up the snowfield, creating a magical winter atmosphere.
Families can also enjoy snowmobile rides, sledding, snow vehicles, and a variety of snow-play activities.
It’s two days of warmth, flavor, and excitement—right in the heart of Snow Country.
