Snow huts glowing in the night—experience Iiyama’s magical winter.

Iiyama’s beloved winter tradition, Kamakura Village, will open again on January 23.
Dozens of hand-built snow huts—small and large—line the snowy landscape, and when the lanterns light up at night, the entire village transforms into a dreamy, storybook scene.

Inside the snow huts, the popular Restaurant Kamakura Village offers special winter dishes such as Noroshi-nabe hot pot, sweet oshiruko, and warm amazake (reservation required).
With snow activities and family-friendly fun, it’s one of Iiyama’s most popular winter events for both locals and visitors.

Come and enjoy a true “Snow Country” experience—unique to Iiyama.
