On every date with a “6” in it (the 6th, 16th, and 26th of each month), Honmachi Burari Hiroba transforms into a lively neighborhood market. Fresh vegetables, seasonal fruit, home-cooked side dishes, freshly baked bread, handmade sweets, oyaki (stuffed buns), dango, sasa-mochi (bamboo-leaf rice cakes), and one-of-a-kind handcrafted goods fill the square — all sourced and made locally. Drop by for a stroll and discover the warmth of Iiyama’s community.
Vendors wanted — casual participation welcome!
You don’t need to commit to every market date. Show up when it suits you. The stall fee is just ¥200 per session. First-time vendors are asked to register in advance with the Honmachi Shopping Street Association. Feel free to get in touch for details.
