The area around the venue becomes a pedestrian-only zone for the evening, so you can stroll along the riverside in the summer breeze while you wait for the show. - Date: Friday, August 14, 2026 (held rain or shine)
- Pedestrian zone: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Fireworks launch: 8:00 PM – 8:50 PM
- Venue: Riverbed on the left bank upstream of Chikuma River Chuo Bridge (snow dump site), Iiyama, Nagano
- Viewing spots: Kijima side – Kamishinden levee; Iiyama side – Route 117 Iiyama Bypass
- Paid seating: Available along the levee management road (contact organizer for details)

- Access: About 10 min walk from JR Iiyama Station, or about 15 min from “Toyota Iiyama” IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway
